I met McKenna when I photographed her older sister Avery for her senior portraits, so I was thrilled when I was contacted again to have a senior session with McKenna.  Senior portraits are some of my favorite sessions, they are exciting, glamorous and the first step into an adult life.  Once this school year is over, it's on to new things!  We were rained out, so more images to come, but I just love how two session times really gives you a fresh perspective to come back and create more!

Stay tuned for round two of McKenna's senior session!

I cannot stress enough how it was the perfect time of year for Avery's senior portrait session.  The leaves and the colors were just incredible.

We started our session at Lake Como which I have chronicled in a previous post :D

We rescheduled the second part of our shoot for later in the week (twice due to rain!) at the gorgeous Daly Mansion.  The leaves, the grounds, and the mansion are just so beautiful.  And we were not the only ones there taking advantage of the backdrop, there was AT LEAST 8 other groups of people taking photos.  But we got our locations down and I couldn't be more thrilled with how the photos turned out.  Avery looks just beautiful in all of the photos.

Have a wonderful senior year Avery! :D

'Tis the season for senior portraits!  Its the perfect time of year because, well FALL!  Beautiful colors, cooler temperatures, and of course the occasional rain.  Avery was positive even though our session got rained out halfway through (Part two coming later this week!).  The lighting was perfect before the rain, and we really couldn't get a better backdrop than Lake Como just outside of Hamilton.  Here are a few of my favorite images from her session!  Can't wait to continue her session at Daly Mansion later this week!
