I met McKenna when I photographed her older sister Avery for her senior portraits, so I was thrilled when I was contacted again to have a senior session with McKenna.  Senior portraits are some of my favorite sessions, they are exciting, glamorous and the first step into an adult life.  Once this school year is over, it's on to new things!  We were rained out, so more images to come, but I just love how two session times really gives you a fresh perspective to come back and create more!

Stay tuned for round two of McKenna's senior session!

Everything is always a little more interesting when there are kiddos involved, and even more so when trying to get photos of those kiddos!  But after this sweet group of cousins warmed up to me with my camera in hand, I think I captured some sweet moments of these sweet littles.

I am looking forward to finishing up this family session and sharing more images!  Thank you for having me, Bridget and family!

I met Kylah and Dylan through the Bitterroot Wedding Association.  They had won a session I had gifted to the Association to give away at their annual Wedding Fair.  These two have so much love for their pups, Miley and Bo, and I was so excited to include them in the session.

Kylah and Dylan are getting married this summer.  Wishing these two the best. Cheers!

Transitions in life are always challenging, and all you can hope for is that they are good for the soul.

I have been friends with Hannah since, well forever, really. We have known each other since the 2nd grade. Yes, really. We recently reconnected after years of different high schools, colleges in other states, you know, life.  Through Hannah's friendship I have met some wonderful people in our community. We bond over the fact we both have two boys, toddlers and babies.  Transition.

I was thrilled to take Evan, Hannah, Caden, and baby Sullivan's first family photos.  At home, in a place that makes transition easier, less overwhelming.  They look good as a family.

On a personal note,

I have been taking some time to reflect and evaluate my business.  I have a wonderful husband, my boys are the best, but recently have felt overwhelmed and stuck in my business.  Can you really have it all?  I sure hope so, because with my family, I have so much of the puzzle figured out.  I honestly just felt empty pursuing my business.  My family and my husband really make my life so full and I have been wondering why my business couldn't do that for me.

I took some time to really think about what was important.  I really feel that God had a bigger plan for me, it just took some time to figure it out.  And I'm not sure if I even fully understand, but I intend to follow through, see what is in store for me.

I have decided to transition my photography out of weddings into more of a lifestyle and storytelling style, illustrated in my session with Hannah, Evan and their boys.

I have decided to move forward with offering a variety of lifestyle sessions.  Please DM me for my sessions and pricing, website update coming soon.  Follow me for updates.
Family, engagement, newborn, senior, and general portrait storytelling sessions available.

Cheers, looking forward to the future.
